Series consists of a number of general articles on copper smelting technology including one on comparative smelting methods. Internal Noranda research reports on the Noranda Process and more formal reports produced by the Noranda Research Centre. Articles and talks about numerous aspects of the Noranda Process given at metallurgy conferences by Noranda researchers. Tables, graphs and some text about the testing of the Noranda Process in a Pre-Pilot Plant, a Pilot Plant and a full-scale installation at the Horne Smelter in Noranda QC. Included is a scrapbook documenting the evolution of these plants. Files detailing the research and development work for the Noranda Process; Canadian and international patents for various aspects of the process and a file on the marketing of the Noranda Process internationally.
