Series consists of research material and memorabilia collected by Byron Harker to document the Howdy Doody show.

The research material includes a notebook containing Harker's notes on conversations with actors and writers associated with Howdy Doody and drafts of his letters to them 1992-1996, as well as individual files containing letters from Cliff Braggins, Jackie White, Toby Tarnow, Larry Mann and Jack Mather, discussing their memories of the show, the producer Fred Rainsberry, and their careers after the show. A file on Barbara Hamilton includes an empty pay packet for her Howdy Doody work and the Cliff Braggins file contains one sheet of music autographed by him. There is a copy of The Official Howdy Doody Marionette Registry 2003, prepared by an American fan and documenting Canadian Howdy Doody puppets as well as American ones.

The memorabilia includes a copy of Howdy Doody au Pays des Jeux (Paris: Les Editions Cocorico, 1954); a copy of Follow the Rule with Howdy Doody and the Safety Clubbers (a CBC Television pamphlet 1950s); and a Doodyville souvenir postcard bearing printed autographs of Timber Tom, Howdy Doody, Clarabell, etc. 1950s.

The series includes photographs taken ca. 1993 by Harker and his wife, Kelly, of Chris Braggins, Barbara Hamilton and Jackie White. There are also contemporary copies of vintage prints from the 1950s, including ones of Maxine Miller as Princess Haida, Larry Mann as Captain Scuttlebutt and Barbara Hamilton as Willow the Friendly Fairy, as well as Jack Mather in various roles. Some of the photos are autographed by their subjects.
