General note:

This accession consists of photographs of Arctic Weather Stations (Alert, Isachsen, Eureka, Mould Bay, Resolute Bay); Trans Canada Airlines weather offices in Winnipeg and The Pas; and various weather offices in Western Canada and North West Ontario. These photographs were created by personnel of the Atmospheric Environment Service.

Custodial history:

The photographs of the Arctic Weather Stations were transferred to the Meteorological Service of Canada's Winnipeg Office after these sites were closed in the late 1990s.
