Morton, Edith Paul, 1861-1939 : Composer Edith Fanny Paul, daughter of the musician Fanny Wookey and Cornelius Danforth Paul, married George Morton and settled in St. Thomas, Ontario. On a trip to New York, she met Polish pianist and composer Ignace Jan Paderewski. Her works include Under the Shadow of the Almighty, Lotosblumen Waltz, Ma Dulcinea and The Will of Love.
