This series contains documents illustrating the work of Francis C. Muldoon as chairman of the Manitoba Law Reform Commission. The duties of the Commission were to make recommendations for the improvement, modernization and reform of laws of the province of Manitoba, the improvement of the administration of justice, the review of judicial procedures under any Act and the development of new approaches to and new concepts of law in keeping with and responsive to the changing needs of Manitoba society and of individual members of that society. The series includes administrative and working files, general and personal correspondence and public relations files related to conferences, seminars and meetings of members of law societies. Also includes manuscripts written by Francis C. Muldoon on various legal matters. Photographs consist of some snapshots of the members of the Commission taken during meetings.
