The series comprises moving images and sound recordings created or accumulated by William Stevenson. The moving images include various reports by Stevenson, out-takes, printing elements, and source material for his television production "A Man Called Intrepid". Sir William Stephenson's recollections of his life in the British intelligence service and activities during the Second World War are of particular interest among the moving images. The sound recordings include various radio programs, interviews, and soundtracks of television programs.
