Collection search - Labour complaint case files of Labour Standards Branch [textual record]

Accession consists of complaint case files created and/or maintained by the Labour Standards Branch. These files deal with the Branch's activities in enforcing the Fair Wages and Hours of Labour Act which required employers having contracts with the federal government to maintain certain standards in the areas of hours of work and pay set out in the Act. The records consist of complaint files. They contain complaint forms dealing with wages owing, holiday and overtime pay, wage calculations, etc., as well as correspondence relating to the settlement of complaints. Mostly file blocks 326-3, although similar material from other file blocks is also present.
