The fonds consists of an album containing ten black and white photographs showing park visitors at Allen Gardens, Toronto. Also, Twenty-five photographic portraits and one poster from the "Toronto Suite, Exhibition, Portraits of the Artists". All photographs by Michael Torosian.

Torosian, Michael, 1952- : Michael Torosian was born in Fort Erie, Ontario, 31 October 1952. Educated at Ridgeway-Crystal Beach High School, Ridgeway, Ontario, 1966-70; studied photography at the Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Toronto, 1970-73, Diploma in Photography, 1973. Independent photographer, Toronto, since 1973. Also, cinematographer, and proprietor of Lumiere Press, Toronto. Recipient: Ontario Arts Council Grant, 1973, 1975, 1976; Canada Council Grant, 1973, 1974, 1979.

Michael Torosian has exhibited widely throughout Canada and the United States. He is represented in a number of major collections including the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, the National Photography Collection at the Library and Archives of Canada and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

He has also written several publications such as Michael Torosian: Port-folio 1976, portfolio of 10 photos, Toronto 1976; Signature 3: Michael Torosian: Nocture, Ottawa 1977; Lunarglyphics, Toronto 1981; and articles "Collecting Photographs" in Financial Post Magazine (Toronto), February 1979; "Memento Mori" in Photo Communique (Toronto), November 1979; "Sanctuary" in Descant (Toronto), 1980 "The Fifties Focus" in Toronto Life, June 1981.
