He begins with his recollections of his assingnment to the Ottawa Press Gallery and the other members of the Press Gallery including John Bassett Sr. of the Globe and Gratton O'Leary of the Ottawa Journal. He also recalls Prime Minister Mackenzie King and Opposition Leader Arthur Meighen. Focusing on the year 1925, Irwin describes the events leading to his resignation from the Globe. He concludes with the continuation of the controversy between some politicians including Mackenzie King and the editorials of the Globe and the possible purchase of the Globe by prominent Liberal supporters.Language:EnglishNotes: -
