Military training grounds of Canada are made to resemble the battlefields of Europe in order to show the recruits the proper spirit under fire. Recruits are shown having machine gun practice and enlisting.~Hamilton, Ontario. Troops march to the railway station. A woman, aided by others, is lifted to a train window to kiss her soldier good-bye. A little boy, dressed as a soldier, shakes hands with his father. Train departs and all wave.~Toronto. Pilots training at Royal Camp. Hangers are seen in the distance. Training aircraft line the runway. Men receive instruction on engines and a pilot learns the controls on a cut-away.
