French communist Jacques van Helmont recalls the German occupation. Madame Yvonne Morandat recalls the resistance movement. French resistance leader Christian Pineau recounts some of the events of the time. Bruckberger recalls the occupation troops. Colonel George Groussard, former French intelligence officer, comments on Charles de Gaulle in liberated France. Alexander Parodi, delegate general during the occupation, comments on the liberation of Paris. Excerpt of Paradi making a broadcast during the insurrection. Louis Clozon, former Parisien merchant, recalls the day of Liberation. Lieutenant Henri Karcher recalls his capture of the German General Choltitz. Excerpt of tape of Junker Von Cholttiz recalling his surrender. All of the contributors to this program give their views on who was responsible for the liberation of Paris. <57mn>
