The Canada 82 Youth Exhibition (7th International Philatelic Youth Exhibition), was held May 20-24, 1982 in the Queen Elizabeth Building at the Canadian National Exhibition, Toronto. The event was sponsored by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada and Canada Post Corporation, while under the patronage of the International Philatelic Federation (FIP). The collection consists of textual records created and collected by the Canada 82 Youth Exhibition Executive Secretary. The records consists of three series, including correspondence, administrative material and exhibit documentation..
It was the first time that a youth philatelic exhibition was held in North America and it drew 290 exhibitors from 43 countries. There were 24 postal administrations represented and 20,000 visitors..
