This accession consists of modified duplex and block numeric central registry records created and/or maintained by the Alberta Regional Office. Box 1 contains modified duplex numeric files dating back to 1929; the records pertain to band management, enfranchisement, welfare, surveys and rights-of-way. One file (779/3-3) pertains to band membership in the Saddle Lake/Athabaska District for the years 1933 to 1962. The remainder contain block numeric files pertaining to the following subjects: band management (E4200); economic development (E4500); agriculture (E4505); business and industry (E4527); employment (E4545 to E4549); financing (E4553); natural resources (E4584 to E4588); education (E4700) including principal's monthly reports (E4700-13); cultural affairs (E4735); school establishment (E4780); school programs (E4785); joint school agreements (E4932); land-natural resources (E5800); mining (E5853); oil and gas (E5855); structural minerals (E5868); social activities and cultural programs (E6400); social development (E6550); adult and continuing care (E6555); child and family services (E6575); health services (E6585) and income support (E6590 to E6595).

Custodial history:

These same boxes were also erroneously accessioned as BAN 2003-01326-1 (finding aid 10-627)., These records were originally housed in Edmonton, but were later transferred to British Columbia. They were transferred again in 2016 and are now located in the National Capital Region and are available for consultation there.
