Footage of: tree stumps being blasted out of the ground in a field; a farmer levering up a stump with the aid of a long pole and working at the stump with an axe; stumps being pulled out of the ground by oxen and horses; a farmer boring an 18 inch hole in a tree stump readying it for dynamite; a man preparing the blasting fuse and attaching it to the explosives; blasting powder being put into the hole and packed with a long pole; the fuse being lit and the man taking cover; the fuse burning, followed by a blast, and the stump blows into the air; another fuse is lit followed by five blasts; and a large pile of stumps being burned.Language:SilentOriginal number:9664Notes:Detailed holdings information: -
