Two panoramic group portraits of Canadian military officers and men, WW I.. Included are a view of the 14th Brigade CFA-CEF, at Petawawa, July 1916, including the 58th Howitzer Battery; men and officers are lined up in front of their camp; view is by Blakemore, 71 King W., Toronto; the negative number appearing on the print is 821. The second view is unidentified, but appears to have been taken in England; included are three men dressed in white outfits, possibly appearing as invalids; at least two of the men are black. Included are both officers and men; each individual is numbered on the image in ink, but the key to which these numbers refer has been lost. [Subsequent to the accessioning, the donor identified this group as being the West Nova Scotia Regiment, but did not identify the location.].
The images are tightly rolled, and there are some cracks in the emulsion as well as several crease marks in the paper. They should be relaxed..
