Canadian Piano and Organ Manufacturers' Association : Association founded in Toronto in 1899 to promote, regulate and protect makers of organs and pianos in Canada. During its existence the association was involved in a number of issues, including excise duties, sales taxes and freight rates. Dissolved in 1975, it was reconstituted the same year as the Keyboard Committee of the Music Industries Association of Canada.
