Textual records (Paper) Finding Aid MSS1802, commonly called the "Upper Canada Land Index", is an alphabetical nominal card index. It serves, primarily, the records found elsewhere within this fonds in the two series titled: Land Submissions to the Executive Council; and Land Minute Books of the Executive Council. In that one volume in the present sub-series (vol. 563) was included within the series which is now titled Land Submissions of the Executive Council, at the time at which finding aid MSS1802 was created, that finding aid may be useful for locating information (especially personal names) in vol. 563.
