These records also document automated cryptography; secure digital facsimiles; tanks; replacement of the Hercules aircraft; an armoured engineer vehicle; rapid digging capability; environmental test facilities; decontamination equipment; base rescue flights; the Canadian Forces Drug Policy Review Project; avionics; an Arctic facility; the National Defence Training Centre; the DASH 8 cockpit procedures trainer; a temporary ammunition dump at Dundurn, Saskatchewan; the CFSD replacement project; the family support program; construction of a heavy equipment garage at CFB Petawawa; construction of additional cadet quarters at CFB Esquimalt; an extension to Curtis Hall at CFB Toronto; the construction of a new building at the Land Engineering Test Establishment, Ottawa; construction of a physical fitness training complex at CFB Montreal; a support building at CFS Alert; aircraft shelters and a fire hall at CFB Lahr; the NATO anti-aircraft warning system; a helicopter magnetic anomaly detection system; short range anti-air missiles; chemical warfare masks; autonomous precision guided munition; and the replacement of mainframe computers.
