Associated material note:

Mr. Wienand also donated the 35mm Akeley Camera that shot some of this footage. The camera was transferred to the National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST#870111). See the National Archives publication Beyond the printed word : newreel and broadcast reporting in Canada, page 150 for a picture.
