This album, comprised of 58 pages on which 164 photographs are mounted, contains the very same photographs as album 37; they have just been developed into larger photos. To be more specific, it is the first thirty (30) pages of album 37, which is the 1948 Eastern Arctic Patrol expedition and provides more detailed, informal commentary by S.J. Bailey. There are approximately a dozen photographs that are not in album 37, but are of similar scenes. The only images that are in this album and not the other are icebergs.
