Print entitled "Battle of Tippecanoe 1811, Advertisement for 'Tippecanoe' Remedy. The battle of Tippecanoe was fought between U.S. Troops under General William Henry Harrison, and the Shawnee Indians under "The Prophet", November 7, 1811, near the present-day town of Battle Ground, Indiana. It was one incident cited by the Americans where the Indians were purported to have been incited by the British Such incidents led to the American declaration of war against the British.
