Fonds consists of photographs showing a variety of subjects, including a number of unidentified camps, cabins, tents and teepees; a series of views of an unidentified snow train; views in and around Fort Nelson, and Churchill, Manitoba; views relating to railways; and photographs of a number of individuals, both singly and in groups. The majority of the photographs were probably made by Mr. Smith. The photographs include a portrait of Mr. Smith, and two prints include Rev. Donald Ben Marsh.
