A mixture of five stories from Pathé Gazette and British War Office Official News Films depicting the action at and after the battering of the Hindenburg line: \protect"French infantry fit on new simplified gas masks before going into action": Shot of a row of French Infantry fitting on gas masks for the camera. "On the Western Front - The Smashed Hindenburg Wall": Camera pans the wreckage of a devastated town, and rail lines. "After the Push - Scenes in battle-swept village on Western Front whence Allies have driven the Huns": The camera pans the wreckage of a completely destroyed village. Officers survey the devastation. "Serbian Refugees returning - to their desolate and desecrated homes": Panorama of a large encampment of wagons and refugees at a train stop loading their belongings onto train cars. The train exits the camp. Shot of French? soldiers in a meal line eating. "Glorious Soldiers of France - Men who have fought fiercest battles of history for world's freedom": French soldiers in full battle dress march past the camera on foot and on bicycles. Several officers congratulate a line of soldiers.
