Fonds consists of works entitled: "A View on the St. Lawrence River"; "Mal Baie Bridge from Near the Church"; "An evening view near Mailby [sic] on the River Murray in Quebec." Works are attributed to William Roebuck.

Roebuck, William, ca. 1797-1847 : William Roebuck, ca. 1795/97-1847. He lived in Upper Canada and Lower Canada after emigrating in 1818. After marrying, he lived in New York. Later returned to Lower Canada. Died in the United States.

He was a topographical artist. He apparently left the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, in 1818 to join his family in America. However, there are no records of his military service or training.

He and his brother John Arthur painted watercolour views of Upper and Lower Canada.
