This series consists of primary and secondary research conducted by two historians, Kenneth Dyba and Joseph Thomas, who received permission from the Halton family to produce an authorized biography. As their research progressed, Dyba and Thomas proposed undertaking a fictionalized biography or a radio or television drama of his life. As their projects did not come to fruition, the research material was returned to the Halton family. This series comprises interviews (audiotapes and written transcripts) with individuals associated personally and professionally with Halton, biographical research files, files documenting the process and progress of Thomas and Dyba's own research and chronological files which provide a timeline of Halton's life and times.
