Norwegian residents of Argentina and Uruguay joined efforts to raise enough money to purchase a training plane. Norwegian pilots are seen flying their aircraft over the airfield. Medium shot of the small ceremony held in Little Norway in Toronto where a tiny doll representing the Argentinian gaucho is handed over by the Argentinian military attaché to one of the pilots who hangs it in his cockpit. The attaché also removes the cover over the name given the gift aircraft - "El Gaucho".
