The series holds records of the committees and sub-committees of the Canadian Federation of University Women, excluding the Executive Committee. Most of the basic work of the CFUW is carried out by its internal committees which develop policy and administer programmes for virtually all aspects of its mission. This series includes minutes, reports, correspondence and other records relating to the work of the following committees: Constitution and by-laws, Education, Fellowships and awards, Finance, International relations, Legislation, Libraries and creative arts, Membership, Nominations, Publications, Resolutions, and Status of Women. For most of the committees the title is self-explanatory, with, for example, the Committee on International Relations being responsible for participation in the IFUW and the Resolutions Committee responsible for screening and preparing resolutions by the clubs for consideration at Annual General Meetings. The Publications Committee files include copies of the CFUW's publications like the Communicator, Journal, Bulletin, and other newsletters and brochures. In addition to textual records, the Fellowships and Awards committee files include some photographs of applicants and winners.
