The series documents interaction between the national executive of the CFUW and its over 100 local clubs across the country. The records are filed by club, arranged from west to east, and can include correspondence between the club and the national office, club newsletters, annual report forms submitted by club, programmes of events, minutes of club meetings, and membership directories. Annual report forms contain information about an individual club's membership, dues, officers, chairs of committees, annual highlights and summaries of recent activities. The records of clubs in towns and smaller cities provide valuable documentation of the activities of university-educated women in these smaller centres which have less access to higher education facilities and economic opportunities.
