Fonds consists of photographic depictions of: Fredericton Internment Camp, ca. 1943; mandolin orchestra and overview showing huts, gardens, and fence; group in German national costume participtaing in the Toronto Centennial Parade, 24 May 1934; German emigrants leaving Bremen, Germany for Canada, 1930; social events of the Toronto chapter of the German-Canadian Association, 1931-1932; activities at Catholic Settlement House, Toronto, Ontario; International Christmas, YMCA, McGill Street, Toronto, Ontario, 1930. Also included in this fonds are items related to life in a German internee camp in Canada, 1939-1942 such as: a painting on birch bark entitled "Winter Scene" used by internees to pass messages to family and friends (the message was written on one of the sheets of the bark then the sheets were stuck together); Christmas card and birthday card printed by German internee at Fredericton Internment Camp; hand-made postcard entitled Camp Kananaski, Alta., 1939; handbill advertising Christmas Concert at Fredericton Internment Camp.
