Canada Atlantic Transit Company of United States : La Canada Atlantic Transit Company, propriété de la Canada Atlantic Railway Company qui l'exploitait, a obtenu sa charte le 30 octobre 1899 conformément aux lois de l'État du Minnesota pour exploiter une compagnie de navires à vapeur entre Duluth (Minnesota), Depot Harbor (Ontario) et d'autres ports de lacs américains et canadiens.

Comme pour d'autres compagnies du Canada et des provinces de l'Atlantique, elle devenue propriété de la Grand Trunk en 1904. Elle possédait trois navires, le S.S. George Orr, 1917, le S.S. Kearsage, 1904-1941 et le S.S. Arthur Orr, 1904-1942. De plus, les navires de la Canada Atlantic Transit Company étaient exploités sous location

. Cette exploitation a cessé en 1942, et après la liquidation des biens, la charte de la Canada Atlantic Transit Company of United States est venue à échéance en 1948.
