Chicago, New York and Boston Refrigerator Company : La Chicago, New York and Boston Refrigerator Company a été constituée en société le 3 mai 1893 selon les lois de l'État du Maine afin de pouvoir exploiter une ligne pour wagons réfrigérants de Chicago à Boston et de Chicago à New York et Philadelphie. Ce droit a été institué suite à la fusion de la Chicago, Boston and Liverpool Company et de la New York Dispatch Refrigerator Company. En 1909, la Whipple Car Company a acquis l'équipement, la propriété et les actifs de la Compagnie. En 1913, la Grand Trunk a acquis l'équipement des deux compagnies. Le 8 novembre 1928, l'équipement a été acquis par la Grand Trunk Western. En 1941, le droit de propriété officiel de toute la propriété est passé à la Grand Trunk Western et le 26 mars 1943, la Chicago, New York and Boston Refrigerator Company a cessé d'exister.
