Portland Elevator Company : La Portland Elevator Company, propriété de la Grand Trunk Corporation et financée par des obligations vendues à Portland, a été constituée en société commerciale le 22 juillet 1896, conformément aux lois de l'État du Maine. Un élévateur à grain en bois de 1 000 000 de boisseaux a été construit à Portland et loué à la Grand Trunk Corporation. L'édifice n'a pas été utilisé après 1933 et a été démoli en 1943. La Portland Elevator Company a été dissoute le 16 mars 1944.
