Fonds consists of assorted film elements from various productions Brown was involved with, including a large collection of outs from Allan King's Warrendale, obtained by Brown for the purpose of creating a projected 18-part instructional series for child care professionals called Children in Conflict. Seven titles were completed. The collection contains composite prints and/or printing elements and outs for these titles. Also included are a number of films produced for Browndale by Canadian Educational Programmes under the direction of John Brown for the purpose of documenting his theories regarding emotionally disturbed children and his method of treatment within a therapeutic family environment, as well as the CBC production Labyrinth (produced/directed by Paul Almond) and a few working titles which do not appear to have been worked into completed productions.
