Collection consists of landscape and architectural views of a timber slide, Ottawa, Ontario; Petit Metis; Grand Metis Falls; Beloeil Mountain on Richelieu River, Quebec; Victoria Square, Montreal, Quebec; Pass de Monts, Baie St. Paul, Quebec; Parliament Buildings, Ottawa, Ontario; raft passing Ste. Anne, Quebec; snowstorm near Beauport, Quebec; four engines and a snow plough in a snow drift near Quebec City; lumber scenes on the Ottawa River; American side of Niagara Falls in winter from ice bridge; on the Restigouche River; a hunter's camp on Blanche River; new suspension bridge, Niagara, from ice bridge. These photographs are by Alexander Hernderson. Other photographic material includes a full plate ambrotype by an unknown photographer of the Wilcox / Mead wedding party, Niagara Falls, 1867; tintype by an unknown photographer of a man in a motor carriage before a painted backdrop of Niagara falls, ca. 1902; full plate ambrotype by an unknown photographer of Niagara Falls with four people in a horse drawn carriage, ca. 1860.
