Dunlop talks about his grandfather Dunlop who settled at Mackey Station and was a supplier to the lumber trade in the upper Ottawa Valley and operated a hotel, stable and farm as well. Speaking of his early life, Dunlop recalls his first job as a youngster loading and unloading the large bucket that was pulled across the river with a pulley and was packed with supplies for the lumber camps.
