Bethune, Edith Hallett, 1890-1970 : Edith Hallett Bethune (1890-1970), housewife, amateur photographer. Flourished Nova Scotia, 1930 ?-1970. Winner of numerous awards for amateur photography. Work published in American Photography, The American Annual of Photography, and Photo-Era Magazine. Eventually associated with Annapolis Valley pictorialists based in Kentville, N.S. Died 1970 Berwick, N.S.

Works located in: National Archives of Canada; private collections.
