This is a preliminary record; please consult the linked accessions. Sub-series consists of records related to health services. Science Council Report No. 22 "Science for Health Services," was presented in October 1974. The report stated that its purpose was "...to consider how science and technology can help in the search for solutions to the problem of improving the delivery of health care as a socially supported service." Health care was given a broad definition, which included not only the treatment of illness but also the protection of a healthy environment and the provision of healthy recreational activity. These documents therefore pertain to the quality and cost of health services, health information services, priorities for research and development, government health programs, and symposia and seminars. Documents also pertain to the supplement Brain Research Study.
