Sub-series consists of correspondence, reports and studies concerning the state of earth sciences in Canada. These were prepared in conjunction with a study that was commissioned by the Science Council of Canada. Two final reports were published by the Council: one in April 1970 (report no. 7) and one in 1971 (study no. 13).
