General note:

Accession includes plans of sloops, gunboats, York boats, drive boats, Durham boats, dories, "Colonial bateau", whalers and schooners.

Note on the state of conservation:

Architectural, technical - drawings: All of the photocopies and six of the blueprints are mounted on muslin.

Custodial history:

Accession was transferred between 17 Feb. 1954 and 18 Oct. 1955, in five accessions, from Canadian Naval Headquarters, but not given accession numbers at that time.

Dates of creation note:

Five items are nineteen fifties copies of earlier materials: Item #1 is a blueline print of an original 1776 drawing; item #2 is a photocopy of an original 1788 drawing; item #3 is a photocopy of an original 1798 drawing; items #4 and 5 are photocopies of original 1809 drawings. The remaining materials date from ca. 1953 to ca. 1955.
