Sub-sub-series consists of files relating to departmental activities in conjunction with the United Nations in the areas of social welfare and development, health, narcotics control, the status of women and general human rights. Also included are files on international relief funds, refugee problem, meetings of the United Nations Economic and Social Council, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund and the International Labour Organization. These subjects are also dealt with in the classified correspondence found in volumes 1670 to 1675.
