Sub-series consists of background documentation prepared for some of the regular meetings of the Deputy Ministers of Health from the federal and provincial governments held to discuss matters of health policy of interest or concern to both levels of government. The sub-series includes a list of participants, remarks by the federal Deputy Minister of Health, memoranda outlining the issues on the agenda, etc. The dates of the meetings are: 16-17 March 1976, 25-26 May 1977, 22-23 June 1977, 26 January 1978, 6-7 June 1978 and 6-7 March 1979. A single file relating to the meeting of the Deputy Ministers of Welfare, held on January 26, 1978 is also included.
