Sub-sub-series consists of correspondence to the Colonial Secretary, Secretary of State, and the Royal Navy Commander in Chief. Volumes 47-80 contain drafts of despatches to the Colonial Secretary, January 1867 to April 1905. Volumes 81-105 contain drafts and copies of despatches to the Colonial Secretary, May 1905 to November 1913. Volumes 105-110 contains indexes to despatches to the Secretary of State, 1870, 1877, and November 1878 to December 1886. Volume 105 also contains a schedule of despatches from the Governor General to the Colonial Secretary for the year 1879. Volumes 111-123 contain registers of despatches to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, 1887 to 31 December 1909. Volume 124 contains drafts of correspondence with the Royal Navy Commander in Chief, Atlantic Station and Pacific Station, 1899-1909.
