Sub-sub-series consists of drafts, copies and extracts of despatches to the Secretary of State from the Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada, 1818-1827, 1838-1839 and 1841. The text or an abstract of some enclosures are included. Some volumes include fair copies of final drafts and not, as is the usual practice, preliminary drafts from which the final copies were made.
