This series comprises the office files of presidents Ian Morrison, Jack Pearpoint and John O'Leary documenting their direction and leadership of Frontier College. It is to some extent a continuation of the Principals' Files series which holds records of the first three principals of Frontier College. The President's Files series includes correspondence with literacy associations, governmental and non-governmental organisations, businesses, and universities; notes from conferences, committee meetings, projects and events; daily files and weekly planning diaries; publicity clippings; staff files; and inventory, financing and budget reports. Some of the literacy associations and foundations included in the correspondence are the Canadian Give the Gift of Literacy Foundation, Movement for Canadian Literacy, Partners in Learning, Canadian Alliance for Literacy, ABC Canada, Chawkers Foundation, George Cedric Metcalf Charitable Foundation, and Maytree Foundation. Government files contain correspondence with Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, his wife Mila Mulroney, Employment and Immigration ministers Benoit Bouchard and Jean-Claude Barré, the Ministry of Skills Development, and Canadian International Development Agency. There is also correspondence with the National Voluntary Organisation, Global Foundation for Understanding, Unesco, Amnesty International, United Way, Stephan Thomas Associates, Telidon Inc., and Mountain, Mitchell, Hill and Monterim, Barristers and Solicitors. Sprinkled throughout the series is correspondence with universities including the University of Toronto, the University of Guelph and York University. Minutes of meetings of the Personnel Committee and Joshua committee are located in this series. In addition, the events files hold notes, correspondence, awards and evaluations pertaining to the Peter Gzowski Golf Tournament.
