Ottawa Civic Hospital : The Ottawa Civic Hospital was eastern Ontario's largest hospital and the seventh largest teaching hospital in Canada. The Civic focused on four specific programs including Hormones, Growth and Development; Neurosciences; Oncology; and Cardiovascular Sciences (through the University of Ottawa Heart Institute). They were also the centre for Clinical Epidemiology. In the 1990s the Ottawa Civic Hospital, General Hospital, and Riverside Hospital merged to create the Civic Campus of the Ottawa Hospital.
