Sub-series consists of files acquired by the Glassco Commission during its investigation of the conduct of Marcel Pochon, Boris Pregel and Carl French. File topics include the agreement between Pochon and Pregel, Port Hope Operations, correspondence, etc. Many of the documents are photocopies, as the originals were contaminated by radioactive materials.

Biography/Administrative history:

Pochon, Marcel : Marcel Pochon was hired by the Labine brothers in 1932 to establish a refining operation for pitchblende ore. He continued as leader of the Port Hope refinery until his resignation in 1945. In 1946, a warrant was issued against Pochon, Boris Pregel and Carl French on a charge of conspiracy to defraud Eldorado.
