Two albums, comprising in total approximately 400 photographs, covering many of the aspects of Louise Lawrence's life, including her youth and family in Sweden; her activities in post-revolutionary Russia (dealt with in her book "Another Winter, Another Spring") including views of famine victims, places at which she worked, etc.; numerous views of the house at Pimisi, including interior and exterior views; her period as a nurse at Banfield, Ont., where she worked prior to and after the arrival of the Dionne Quintuplets; Len Lawrence during the Second World War; visitors and friends in Canada, and a few photographs of birds. These albums are well captioned, and present an effective synopsis of Louise Lawrence's life. An album inscribed "To Louise and Len with many thanks from Lars. 25.1.54", showing Louise knitting; Len with a roadgrader; their cabin; an unidentified river; an unidentified house, probably in Sweden; Lars in a broadcast booth at radio station CKUA, Edmonton, Alta. A small album inscribed "Louise Kiriline fran Axel Odelberg Ryssland 1920, 1921", including shots of Louise, unidentified places in Russia, soldiers marching on parade, churches and graveyards, ruined buildings, public buildings.
