Fonds consists of the nine fiction feature films produced and distributed by Universal Pictures and its business units. Titles include: The groundstar conspiracy (1972); The great Northfield Minnesota raid (1972); The beguiled (1971); Two-lane blacktop (1971); Taking off (1970); Anne of the thousand days (1969); Tell them Willie Boy is here (1968); The night of the following day (1968); and Silence of the north (1979).

Also consists of the feature film THE TRAP (1922).

Universal Pictures (Firm) : Universal Film Manufacturing Company was founded by filmmaker Carl Laemmle in 1912. The company was renamed Universal Pictures and, over the years, grew into a full-fledged movie studio and a leader in motion picture production and distribution. In 1962 MCA and Universal merged, and in 1991 Matshushita Electrical Industrial Co. Ltd. acquired MCA. The Seagram Company Ltd. purchased a majority equity in MCA from Matshushita in June 1995. On 10 December 1996 MCA Inc. was renamed Universal Studios Inc.

Universal Studios Inc. has three major business units: filmed entertainment, music entertainment and recreation. Universal's filmed entertainment business produces and distributes films worldwide in the theatrical, television, home video and pay television markets, engages in the licensing of merchandising rights and film property publishing rights. Theatrical product is distributed in the United States to motion picture theaters by Universal Film Exchanges, Inc. and in Canada by Universal Studios Filmed Entertainment Canada Inc. Universal Films Canada, a Canadian distributor, is a division of Universal Studios Filmed Entertainment and MCA. Universal Productions Canada Inc., wholly owned by MCA, is a Canadian production studio and division of Universal Studios. Murray Shostak, who worked on a variety of projects with Universal, established Universal Productions Canada.
