Fonds consists of films and television programs produced and/or distributed by Alliance Atlantis Communications or Alliance Communications or Alliance Entertainment. Titles include: The Sweet Hereafter; Foolproof; Due South; Captain Star; Power Play; Cover Me; Once a Thief; Owning Mahowny; Men with Brooms; and Ararat, all of which were produced or coproduced by Alliance Atlantis Communications Corporation. The fonds also includes films Black Robe; Paris France; Whale Music; Crash; and The Boys Club; and the television series North of 60; Due South; E.N.G.; and Counterstrike, all of which were produced or coproduced by Alliance Communications Corporation. Furthermore, fonds includes the following films: Sword of Gideon; The Gate; Gate II; Bedroom Eyes; Perfectly Normal; The Reflecting Skin; American Boyfriends; La Révolution Française : les années lumières; La Rèvolution Française : les années terribles; The Jeweler's Shop; and La boutique de l'orfèvre; and the following television series: Bordertown; E.N.G.; Diamonds; Night Heat; and Hot Shots; television films including the mini-series La Révolution Française and the English subtitled version of the production entitled The French Revolution. All produced or co-produced by Alliance Entertainment. Alliance Atlantis Communications : Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. is an international film and entertainment producer, broadcaster, and distributor with significant ownership of Canadian cable television channels. Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. resulted from a merger between Alliance Communications Corporation and Atlantis Communications Inc. in 1998. The company's business activities are divided amongst three operating groups as follows: the Broadcast Group, the Motion Picture Distribution Group and the Entertainment Group. Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Alliance Atlantis also has operations in Los Angeles, Edmonton, Montreal, Halifax, Shannon, London and Sydney.
