Fonds consists of experimental and fiction features directed by Richard Kerr. Titles include: Canal; Cookin' at the Vesta; Dogs have tales; Luck is the residue of desire; Hawkesville to Wallenstein; On land over water (six stories); The last days of contrition; Machine in the garden; Cruel rhythm; Plein air étude; Plein air; and The willing voyeur. Also included is a lecture by Marshall McCluhan to students at the Sheridan College School of Design in Oakville, Ontario.

Kerr, Richard, 1952- : Richard Kerr was born in 1952 in Ontario. He was educated in the field of media arts, and has since worked mainly in experimental shorts. Between 1982 and 1986 he taught film production, thereafter joining the University of Regina (Saskatchewan), Department of Film and Video, as an associate professor. In addition to his directing and teaching activities, he has curated a number of film programs in Canada. Kerr's filmography includes: Hawkesville to Wallenstein (1976); Vesta lunch (1978); Dogs have tales (1979); Luck is a residue of desire (1981); Canal (1982); On land over water (six stories) (1984); The last days of contrition (1988); Plein air (1991); Plein air etude (1991); The machine in the garden (1991); Cruel rhythm (1992); and The willing voyeur (1996).
